Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups cornflour


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 2 cups water


  • 4 tbsp ghee


  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1 tbsp chopped cashew


  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds


  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


  • 1 pinch pinch of food colour,u like1

Directions

  • Firstly Take a heavy bottom pan, add 1 cup of water and 1 cup sugar.
  • Boil water till sugar dissolves in it.
  • Add Cardamom Powder and Lemon Juice.
  • Take a bowl, add 1/2 cup corn flour and 1 cup water.
  • Mix well corn flour and water, remove all lumps of corn flour.
  • Add a pinch of food color in the mixture and mix well.
  • When sugar dissolves completely then adds corn flour paste in sugar syrup.
  • Keep the flame on medium.
  • Mix all ingredients well; now add all chopped dry fruits.
  • Keep cooking till the mixture gets thick.
  • Add 2 tsp ghee in a pan and keep cooking for 20 minutes.
  • When halwa leaves the sides of the pan then switch off the flame.
  • *Take a plate and grease it with ghee
  • Pour mixture into the dish, allow it to set.
  • Once it is set cut into pieces, and serve
